I think its myfreeforums thats causing it as the message reads,
''Sorry but we could not display this forum page on this occasion.
Please ensure that your browser supports javascript and is not running
anything that will interfere with the intended display of the page, such as advert blocking software.

This service relies on using advertising to keep it running. ''

Bloody cheek from mff as we pay to stop ads on the forum anyway

They are asking for donations for a new server, hence the ads etc.

Victims of their own success or just plain greedy :?:
Have they breached  their own T & C's as we've paid for this forum to be add free?

I think MFF/Mars Jupiter are looking at raising money for the servers as they will need replacing this year. They dont want to heavily go down the advertising route with pop ups etc and are hoping all successful forums can donate.

When you think of it 1000 forums all donating £10 isn't bad at all. They need around £10,000 for the essential servers.

I'm on IE and no probs, but I do find the banners that appear occasionally on the signature line annoyingly odd.

Regardless of whether they have their begging bowl out or not,
it's dictatorial to force you to turn off an adblocker to be able to view froum pages.

Agreed Mike, but they provide an excellent service really. The fundraiser for the new servers doesn't seem to be going too well it seems.
