I'm still here I promise. I spent all day today working on the game and could have put out an update if i had tried. But I didn't. Because I got caught up working on the next phase. Things that I wasn't expecting to be doing until 0.5.0 or 0.6.0 caught up to me and I decided that I needed to take the time to address them now rather than power through them because in the long run, a slightly faster release today would have caused a lot more delay shortly down the road. So no update... Yet. It's coming. Soon. SOON! But I need to handle this first so that things will be smoother. As a teaser, enjoy this in the meantime.

The Multiverse. It is a strange place in which there are worlds where things taste like purple and two plus two equals fish and if you divide that by three you get salmon... truly a weird place.

Played though it and heres my quick bullet points , using plus for pros and dashes for cons! These are all naturally just my opinions . Im a boring person so Im just going to put it all bluntly

+great concept
+seems to know the goal there going for
+likes cast
+whimsical random little girl
+to the point questing
+seemed like you could switch between the boys at first

-no warning Ive hit the end.
-super aprupt raising the stakes. *ie him suddenly being over powered by a younger kid with no way to oppose or justify it in the plot*
- so much cutscenes it takes away from the game itself. / which from what I know take forever to do on rpg maker yet only account for fixed amounts of time used in the gameplay. Events where I get to find the thing , or speak to the person, are more "game like"
- house layout is too samey for the different floors might help using some sorta land marks or treating it as a house/ maby draw a floor plan with hallways , add somthing decortive to set areas apart. map design is key in these things.
-the game doesnt end at set point of events or in story time which threw me off when chooseing to not be confrintational with boy , but being confrintational gave a solid outcome./ not being able to use potty dident allow me to rig the basement event.

Overall I think its a cool idea, needs more flavor text when interacting with things. even if there one liners. Keeping my critique to as much of the technical gameplay elements and things of that nature , as story and plot is too subjective.

Thanks for the comment. As for the hitting the end part, I did a whole little outro monologue thing at the end of 0.2.0 and that seemed to be a decent closing of the game. When I released 0.3.0 I was racing a deadline so that got swept under a rug but multiple people have commented on it so I will make sure that's addressed in the next update. As for the ramping up of intensity... Yeah... It was a poor choice and was immediately stricken from the game record right after the update went out, so don't worry, it's already been handled. :) I'll also be trying to jazz up the dialogue a bit and make it better over time. About the maps: a lot of people have criticized the stairs layout for the basement vs. 2nd floor, so i'll be trying to figure some solution to that in the next update.

And lastly, about this mythical "next update" I keep referring to. It's coming, it really is. I planned on doing almost weekly updates this year but things fell through when I had to take a major detour to change some of the fundamentals of the game. But I've been working on it for hours each day and it's slowly coming together. I promise that 0.4.0 will be out in January, hopefully in the next week (but not guaranteed).  :)

If you want I could make a Decent house floorplan.for you! itd be basically expanding my grandmas house but  I can easily see it working here.

Heres a good blueprint for a house for the game , the sprite shows its got 2 floors so I did that,loosely based on my grandmas house floor plan. since you got like the mansion thing going on.

Yea I figured using an actual homes layout might be the easist way to navigate the place. you could really use any home for this As your current home design seems a little off. Your free to tweak it as you see fit, I even did factor in ways to hide nursury in the texts.

As an update, I finally got the main floor map made. Tell me what you think, after all it's based on your design.

As far as what's left before an update: I have 3 maps to make, a 4 way passage settings bug, and a whole lot of events. But the events are all planned out, so I just have to implement them. ETU (estimated time of update): Either tonight or this weekend... We'll see! :P
I expect their will be a lot of issues with the toileting system in the next update as i'm converting to mira's plugin. Try not to worry too much about them, as I need to spend a week or so really knocking out the chinks in that before it'll run smoothly and I'd rather get out an update first and handle that later.
