Hey guys i've got what appears to be a SR4 transmission and i am tryin to find out what the gear ratios are in it. The casting # on the case is 13-32-065-903, then the next line is RF D5ZR 7006-BA. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the SR4 came out of an AMC or a Jeep, the Mustang charts will not tell you.

The case numbers that you give basically don't tell us squat about the year or what it came out of. Only the tag will tell us anything. And if the tag indicates non-Ford, even that may not help.

Well it is at very least a 1975 going by the Rough Forging number...

RF = Rough Forging, D5 means it is a 1975 era casting... or at least it can't be any older than that. It could be later tho...

First year was 1974. And, in this case you are correct, it must be a 75 or later.

However, in the last 30 years, I have found a few (very few) parts with VINs stamped on them pre-dating the casting number. Shocked me the first time I saw it.

Like it says, you out it into the gear you want to know about and turn the OUTPUT shaft until the IMPUT shaft has completed ONE TURN = approx ratio. Pete
