I haven't a clue how deep that bell is. I can give measurements on the V8 bells but never needed to know for the smaller engines because there was only one that fits each application. I will be watching to see if the information is provided. I don't think I have built a C4 for anything smaller than a 200" six.

I have a Mustang II 2.8 C4 (C5?) and bellhousing in my garage. I'll see if I can take measurements for you this weekend. You need a bellhousing?

Interesting. The bellhousing I have, from a '78 Mustang II V6 with C4 is ~6.25" deep from mating surface to mating surface.

Post the part number and I'll go measure mine again.

I was told mine was a rebuild and i've never had a day trouble with it.
I did do a service on it once and changed the filter.
