Can someone explain what the difference is between the FMX Transgo shift kit SK3-67 and reprogramming kit 37-1? For a street and strip application what would be the better kit? Should both be used?

Thanks alot for your help

The SK3-67 is a "shift improver" kit. It basically corrects "flaws" in the stock tranny and is considered a stock improvement kit, for stock vehicles.

The 37-1 is a bit more "racey" and for heavy duty and towing. Use this kit for a vehicle that has a modified engine.

Don't use both, use one or the other.

will the FMX shift still automatically with this kit installed or what exactly means "Full manual controlCompetition, Off-road and Prostreet. World record shifts..." and what means exactly "Has Stick shift Option".

Thanks a lot again

The FMX-3 kit is intended for full manual shifts... no automatic shifts... but has the option for either.

"Has Stick Shift Option" means you can set it up either way. For a street car the manual option gets tireing after a while...

This kit will give much firmer shifts than either of the other kits. That too can get tireing in a street car...
