I am looking for AOD transmission powerflow data. I need to know of books/reference material that has:
ORFFICE locations for apply/exhaust of clutches.

Does the ATSG books have this....cuz mine doesn't?

This info has to be somewhere and it is kicking the shit out of my internet search button.!

ATSG Books dont have it. At one time Ford had a stand-up rebuild guide flip chart. This had all the seterator plate passages identified. I think I saw an illustraton in either Transmission Digest or Gears. Will Look and post the issue if I can fin it.

I have been dirrected by some profesionals to find these manuals"

Its a big blue binder that says AOD on it in huge letters.
It also says AOD transmission reference manual on it. It is also know as: "Automatic Overdrive Transmission Operation and Diagnosis"

I will pay good money for one if you can help me/ dirrect me towards one or know someone that has this book/manual.

I have a huge Motors Transmission manual with fluid flow through every gear position.

I will either scan or take some pics.
Then possibly do a picture story.

You did that once before for me with a 700R....much appriciated as always. If nothing else, copy and mailing would work too....I would pay for that even.

sorry, that is dan.gilsdorf@mmttechnology.com with two t's...my mistake.

Thanks again Stu. That info gets half way there, even with it's fuzzy resolution - I beleive the flow charts do not show where the fluid exits the VB/sep plate on it's path to the clutches.

Let me be more specific:
1)I am looking to increase the rate that the forward clutch applies on the 4-3 downshift.
2)Increase the exhuast rate of the OD servo
3)increase the rate of dirrect clutch application

I assume the best way is to increase the orffice hole size.
I figure why I am at it, I should go ahead and figure out ALL the orffices.

I notice there are little black dots or something with numbers next to them....do those indicate differnt orficess on the VB by chance? Is there a diagram of the seperator plate anywhere?

thanks again....still not quite was I was hoping for. What about AIRTEST through the seperator plate? Does the manual have that?

Hmmm...still not exactly what I need. I guess I could increase the rate of OD release, but but increaseing exahust would work better.....that one page does have some things, but not specific enough.

Thanks for helping....if you happen to come across any more info that might help me that would be great. So far the the only page that has really been able to TELL me and SHOW me is the Buamann Electronics Shift kit instructions since they label what the orffice change is accualy doing!

Note picture attached...in the text that preeceeds this picture it says what the numbered holes DO and thier relationship with the trans actions
