Hi guys!
I am trying to figure out if I can swap a 24 series C6 with a 1989 series 25 bell. The C6 that I am trying to use cam out of a car, and is thus shorter in length. Can I just swap the tail ends of the tranny?

Thanks!

If the truck is a 4x2, the extension housing should be the same length unless the car C6 is a Lincoln. Most likely the shift linkage will be different between the two. If the truck is a 4x4, the tranny has to be completely disassembled to remove the output shaft. The same goes for the car C6 if the output has to be swapped.
