This Premier Club set seems to be along similar lines to Premier Gold, but with the UK in mind.

However with the internet and ebay, serious card collectors in the UK were more than capable of getting hold of all the Premier Gold cards we wanted (albeit spending a small fortune in postage and customs charges along the way if you were collecting a large number of variations)

Premier Gold does have the added complication/hassle of all the different limited number variations of each card, right down to printing plates, blank backs and so on. It doesn't look like Premier Club will have that level of complexity, so a lot 'easier' (and more satisfying) in that many collectors will be able to 'complete' a set of cards relating to their team.

Unless of course I've missed something, and Premier Club will have 1/1's, 1/10's and so on.

I am very very bewildered.
Please look at the price of Topps Premier Club 2015.

It is almost the same as Premier Gold.
I do not understand this selling point.
It might be a on-card autograph. However, still bewildered...

Aya, I don't think you can say the prices are almost the same. Base on UK retail prices, this is what you get.

Premier Gold = £200 for 50 cards - 10 packets of 5 cards (5 Autos & 5 Relics)
Premier Club = £150 for 250 cards - 50 packets of 5 cards (1 Auto)

So if you are chasing autos and memorabilia, Premier Gold is the way to go. But if you want to try and complete a set, Premier Club is a much better option

harrodjon, I forgot the regional differences.
Their price in Japan.

Topps Premier Gold 2014 27,600 JPY
Topps Premier Club 2015 27,000 JPY

However, The difference of 50 pounds is not enough to convince me.
Premier Gold has a lot of parallel card in addition to jersey and auto. It is probably 10 card.

Premier Club looks to good design. and Rainbow foil might be great card.
However, Panini Adrenalyn Although there are many cool insert, it is possible to purchase usually cheaper.

I think that the difference of these prices should become larger.

I agree that the price difference isn't very much between boxes. My point was that you get a lot more cards for your money. So whether it is value for money is subject to whether you are an autograph hunter or someone that likes to have as complete a collection as you can get.
I would hope that these cards are much better quality than Match Attax / Adrenalyn cards, but seeing as they are being produced by Topps Europe and not Topps USA, I wouldn't hold out much hope

I would think that due to them being £3 for 5 cards. I would assume they are like the panini prize base cards. I will be collecting this set as completing a base set for topps premier gold seems virtually impossible without buying several master boxes

Really looking forward to this collection. I suppose that the autographs in this collection will be pretty valuable. Will be pretty fun to complete such a high-end set in the UK (finally)

Yes, I also feel the same way. Judging by the listing, I reckon they are using leftover stickers from Premier Gold 2013. I guess that there is only on card autos for a selection of exclusive players.
