Japan withdraws from the tournament a couple of days ago and Spain has received an invitation to participate but a decision has not been taken yet. In this case the production should be canceled/postponed until then and probably the collection's release date will be pushed back a few weeks.

Depending by how advanced the production was, I wonder if the stickers with Japanese players will show up somewhere or not.

Japan chenged his mind and will be on Copa America 2011. So, Panini probably is very happy with that decision. The album now is ready to be on the streets.

Japan will participate the tournament, but they cannot send the best players due to the J-league matches on June.
More than four fixtures are postponed because of the earthquake, and they must be done on June's break.

Panini are notoriously lazy in updating their webpages. The info is coming from a local collector who already started to fill his book.

Here is how the empty album looks like. I think all the player's details are printed on stickers as nothing is written under each sticker frame in the book.
