Because it's not rare any more. For the british people, Robbie Keane, Shay Given, Lenon, Kolo Toure, these type of players may be some kind of popular. But for the fans of rest of the world like me in China, I don't have any reason why I have to pay big money for these type of signed cards. Even though it drop down the price like this, I still don't wanna pay for it.
Just my opinion against topps' choice of Signed card.
BTW, I have seen some of our member has got the Autograph card of this season, and the choice is still bad... Why can't they pick Silva, Van persie, Gerrard? The first class player of EPL? The money's problem maybe?

Yeah wouldn't go any higher than $20 for a Robbie Keane auto. Its like for the other sports, there are plenty auto to be bought at under $20, or even under $10 cus they are simply just not world class. But, the world class players would command $1-2k.

(and yes I know that Robbie used to be approaching world class at Spurs)

prices always vary, go up and down
It always depends on the players and not necessarily the rarity
