9% of the Final selling price, very similar % then for PayPal,
Also insertion prices would have been involved unless ran from a 99p auction start.
Also P&Pwill cost more than £1 and if signed for will be more like £7(if international) and considering the P&P Topps originally charged, this represents a huge margin lost
ok so, will assume listed for free on ebay.
Split the £6.50 postage cost between the 3 cards...
9% Final value fee ebay

Isnt paypal 3.2% +20p or something like that?

Yes assume registered international postage will be £7, so will add on postage charged on listing to final price and then put the international post charge as a deduction.

Paypal fees are 2.9%
In the item description he actually states postage to be £6
They start at 99p
Postage for the 3 autos and the box from Topps will have been £12 max (so for ease let's call that £3 per item)

If Giggs were to sell for the £82 it is currently on, he would be making a profit of approximately £19 (82 - 10(fees) - 3(postage) - 50(original cost))

lol, no worries Ben. thx for the paypal fees %.
Have assumed that Topps would charge £6.50 for post to UK for all 3 so charged £2.15 each.
Have edited my first post. Will do the calcs later when auctions finish...!!
Postage from Germany at £6 is about spot on I reckon?

didnt bother putting the base cards on Calvin. Looks like I should've done...sounds like definately worth investing in the 20 card set ones from Topps then.
Will add the basic card links below so we can all see what they finish at.

PayPal fees are split into 2 parts, a percentage fee and a fixed fee. The percentage fee is determined by which country you are registered in and how much you receive every month via PayPal.
You are correct with th 2.9% and 20p fixed fee, not sure if Germany is the same but I'm sure the % rises by 1% if an international transaction and I'm also sure they then add an extra 'currency conversion charge' :shrug

I'll do the 2.9% +20p assuming one of us from UK were selling Mark, easier for my brain. thx forgot about the fixed amount also. No wonder I dont sell!!
