Very odd show but I find it fascinating.  Allison Dubois, the main character, dreams about crimes but only in small increments until near the end when she pieces them all together (or the dreams themselves become more detailed) and the crime is solved.  I read that this is based on a real life medium.

We've also watched "Ghost Whisperer" but I find it a bit cloying.

I don't like the hubby. He comes off as a jerk, to me anyway. Then again, I've only seen it once or twice. Tonight is Scrubs nite.

I love this show. I rarely watch TV and only tape shows to watch later. This is one of 2 shows that I regularly tape. The other is The Dead Zone. I did watch the Ghost Whisperer once. I fell asleep!

Before I say more, Lake, I would like to know how you find the show Medium - to be odd & fascinating. Would you elaborate on that a little bit?

I did see an interview with the real Allison Dubois and her story.

Well, Isabella, regular Joes (and Janes) don't dream about murders -- a little bit at a time until they put all the pieces together and aid law enforcement in solving crimes. If that's not odd and fascinating, I don't know what is.

Like you, I read an article about Allison Dubois.  I don't doubt that she has "powers" most of us lack.

On a somewhat related note, my great-grandmother was known by many New Orleanians during her lifetime as "healer".  Holy Water, candles, statues, and all that stuff...
