I cannot stress to y'all how good the food was here. The prices are nice too. There's a good variety for a small-ish menu.

I had lemon chicken which was perfectly herbed and not too lemony. The pasta was covered in a thick cheesy sauce:

This is CopCop's but he will have to post the name because I'm sure I'll spell it wrong:

The bread, which came with an herbed butter on the side, was fresh and crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

and those are some good-looking lunches.  Seeing as CC hasn't weighed in yet, can you attempt a phonetic reproduction of the name of his lunch?  It looks either like holubchi (if that is cabbage over there to the right), or bracciole if not?

Is it braciolone? I think that's it. Delicious. The spaghetti was damn good too.

Baby white veal stuffed with bread crumbs, eggs, raisins, pine nuts and cheese!

Maple Cafe is a Metairie treasure! T. J. Qutob runs a great shop here. Let's do a First Friday at Maple's? There's a couple of rooms we could use. http://www.maplecafe.net/default.asp
