Re the Wessex not keeping station too well.. the accel and decel constants need to be close to that of the ship you want it to keep station on. As an example.. Victorious58 is 0.5, 0.4 and 0.3, 0.3. The Wessex model is 0.5, 0.4 and 2.0, 0.5.. not bang on but close enough. The Melbourne Majestic is 0.07, 0.07 and 0.05, 0.05.. very slow to start and very slow to stop which is vastly different to the Wessex ;)

It's actually working very well at the moment.

Vendetta around 1970 - I need to sort out the DESRON logos, which are currently reversed - they were put on in the early seventies.

The big pennant numbers (USN style) were applied in 1969.

In 1970, Vendetta and Vampire both had half life refits which changed the silhouette quite a bit, as well as adding golf ball style radomes. So these models are useful until then! After which I'll need to find a DDG...

Voyager (D04) was cut in half by Melbourne on 10 FEB 64 during a station change while acting as plane guard... so the RN gave over HMS Duchess as a replacement.

Duchess had a refit in 1973, becoming a training ship. X turret was deleted, and a classroom installed in it's place, as well as a new funnel being fitted.

Well, you must all be getting pretty sick of me by this stage.

Moresby's Kiowa flies over three Darings, some where in the IO.

On the rare occasion I fly in FSX I always use this program. In fact I LOVE IT! The RFN Gauge is great, and can now position one on a carrier, but this program does 2 additional, brilliant things:

1) Takes the carrier into/off of flying stations (thereby going full steam with the wind going directly "down the angle")

2) Provides AAR aircraft in a circuit, displaced from the carrier

For these reasons I'd also like to see it working in Prepar3D. I can't get it to start up properly. Can others? I'm currently using v3.4

It is now ~3.5 years since release. Might an updated version be possible please?

Besides an update for P3D compatibility I'd really like to be able to adjust the AAR circuit height, distance etc. I'd also like to see other AI out there, for instance AEW and ASW.

The program was originally released before the post-war Victorious models, so for anybody searching for links to their *.ship files here they are:

Works just fine in p3d as well. The ride is a tad lumpy, might need to adjust the CoG on the ARK.

It just jumps up and down, no roll or pitch.

Is that in v3 or v4? If it works in 64-bit I'll be very happy. I just haven't got around to trying it myself... it is a very busy time of year for me!

Well, i had a really happy hour this evening, flying a Sea King around my little task group and landing on decks.

If you set the big war canoes to use average sea height, the ride improves dramatically, and you can sit on deck and watch the escorts bounce around.
