Update 7-12-2017 - New Pipeline, Twitter Feed, HOG Guides and more

A lot of changes lately.

The forums have upgraded to Tapatalk (though they retain the Yuku URL). This necessitated creating a new Port Saiid Pipeline for the site as the RSS feed changed. Because I couldn't get the new RSS feed to work with FeedInformer (it kept saying it was invalid), I have switched to Feedwind and made a whole new widget that is similar in look and style to the Twitter List display. Going forward, we are keeping both the Pipeline and the Twitter list.

The new Pipeline will only contain posts from Port Saiid. The other forums cannot be added to the list because Feedwind only allows for one RSS feed per widget. Since all the other forums were getting less and less posts and many were declared defunct, I do not see this as being a problem. The new feed will also display all new posts on Port Saiid, not just new topics.

For those of you who miss the quick links that used to be at the bottom of the forum, I brought back a heavily scaled-down version of the Memory Card that only includes four sites: CodieKitty.com, DHN, Rage Quitter 87's Sites, Random Hoo-Haas (they are in alphabetical order, FYI).

In other site news, I have a new guide section of the Hidden Object Game Puzzles: http://flyingomelette.com/shrines/hog/index.html

It currently contains 29 guides.

The updates all look really good. I don't have much else to say, but I just really wanted to comment on the recent changes.

I love how every dumb joke I make now goes to the pipeline, not just new topics. And I love the HOG guides. Lots of warm fuzzies for me. 8:)

Wow, that new Pipeline is fancy! And it always loads, too. I had issues sometimes with the old load failing to load and it would hang the entire front page except sometimes the menu at the left.
