From an Toronto Sun article.

Ive only been here for the last year and a half, but I think theyve had some young players, to be honest, they needed some better preparation, some better focus, especially in this market. I think (Sutter) definitely brings that. He makes sure everyone is prepared and theyre ready to go. You can see the intensity, his passion for game day and it rubs off on everyone, Mitchell said.

Every other article is just an attempt to write about something else about them during the playoffs.

but he slide wildly out of position. He would get ripped apart in Philly.

he moves just as well but he isn't as aggressive and he lets in leaky type goals....but he could be that type of goalie as Quick....

So Quick is doing it all on his own??? Sorta like Michael Leighton in the 2010-2011 post season? He is still behind Leighton, for Leighton had 3 Shutouts in 14 playoff games for the Fly
Boys to Quick's 2 in 13 games. Why wasn't Leighton the ONLY story in Philly that year?????

Or more recently....Mike Smith did it ALL for Phoenix, until he met a LA TEAM that showed, YES, it is truly a TEAM game and the GOALIE is only ONE piece. A very important piece no doubt, but only ONE piece. Just maybe there are other guys helping out a little bit.

Jeff Carter's hat trick was a good story ey, and some other guys are helping out a bit like Brown and Kopitar. And their coach.... might be a story also??? Took over around Christmas for a sub average team, and has them a win away from the Cup Finals...along with J. Quick of course.

Final story.....if the Kings and Rangers make it to the Finals, it would be a match up of the 2004 S.C. between Tortorella's Bolts and Sutter's Flaames.

Is the real story:

"And their coach.... might be a story also???"

The personality of that team switched from Murray's passive "let's try not to lose" that's made him just an OK coach to Sutter's everybody, all out approach.

Quick's been great, As has Smith, Lundqust, Holtby - are any of those teams just steamrolling through the top seeds?

I've really enjoyed watching what I can of LA. They play a relenteless, selfless team game, it's just stifling. And they do it 60 minutes, every night (except last night).

No, this isn't just Quick.

Windy's been railing about Reese, and watching Quick might prove him right. Bob's every bit as fast with his hands, but that seemed to disappear as time went on.

With a D that doesn't clear the porch, the goalie has to spend more time in the butterfly just to see.

That, and we tend to lament EVERY high goal, when it's on our team. I bet the book on Quick is also to shoot high. Like it was on Roy, Broduer.......

the first goal was leaky but that second goal nothing you can do...you can't win if you don't score....if anything Smith won that game for Phoenix....he got very lucky 3-4 times but he got the shutout
