That Bryz has found his groove?

GAA 2.28 and .909 S% in Feb

4 games, 2 shutouts, .960 S% and a 1.20 GAA (Roughly figured out myself)

Once the D gets healthy, this team is looking pretty strong coming down the stretch.

Can't expect much more from him. He's always been streaky and when in the zone you can't get a beebee past him. When he's not beachballs have been known to float by.

I'm just hoping that he's better in the playoffs than he was last year. I picked PHX as an upset special in my pool and the Wings smoked him. He wasn't very good the year before either but I'm hoping the past is the past and the personnel surrounding him is a lot better.

Beating Fla like that was a real nice win. They've been playing pretty well and the defensive side of things has certainly turned for the better. Hope they keep it up as it would be good to have some momentum going into the playoffs.

He really suddenly and out of nowhere seems economical in his movements and smothers the rebounds for the most part. 180 degress turnaround but still too small a sample to be truly encouraging yet.

Wow. 5-0 with a severely depleted line up shows some depth for us.

So Carle runs Skille into his goalie and fights him. The fight was uneventful but nobody else from Florida seemed to run the net for the rest of the night. Coincidence?

Rinaldo two minutes for bodychecking...again...and then some big lunkhead decides to attack him. Unlike a turtle like Kronwall, Rinaldo answers the bell with a half sized disadvantage.

Decent scrap by Shelley.

I can't recall seeing a guy as nervous on his first NHL shift as Manning. His ice time was understandably limited. Looks like he has some offensive instincts at least.

I guess having Lilja around doesn't look as bad with 2/3 of the D injured.

Coburn seemed to step it up.

Jagr is laboring but still he scores. Leadership by example to play through pain.

Hartnell wirth 32 goals. Wow. All this talk about lacking response and one of the few we have, some people are dying to trade away.

Nice win! As a personal by-product they did the Jets a big favour too. I hope they wipe the smug off of Vancouver, starting in a few minutes. A win there would be huge for them. Too bad Washington/Tampa went to OT though. Caps get two and TB gets the loser point.

After feeling the wrath of the fans all season, I hope he took some time to bask in the "Bryz!" chants and standing O.

What I like about the change as much as the results is the way he did it. He stopped with the circus act, took responsibility, focused on the team, and seems to be working hard at it. Answers some of the concerns I had about him when he was signed. Post game interviews are now for information and insight, not his standup act. Is he finally maturing a bit? That can only be a good thing.

I felt like the Flyers didn't do a great defensive job in the first period at all. They definitely stiffened up in the second and third and did a much better job of challenging FL and keeping them to the outside. It was actually a pretty good physical game for pretty much everyone. By midway through the game, watching Bryz was an absolute treat -- he was aggressive and cool at the same time. If he's able to play like that in the post-season, oh my.

Definite kudos to Jagr and Giroux for making some great plays and working hard despite apparent injuries. I also thought Schenn played a grittier game last night than he's had in a little while.
