Just putting out feelers for who may be up for a ride to see the Bikers Classis event at Spa Francorchamps Belgium in 2012. The idea stems from when a group of us riding a Fizzy, DT80, C70 and MZ150 rode from Bilbao to the top of France in 2008 over a 6 day period to a trip to Spa last year to watch a FANTASTIC weekend of TZ`s, RG`s CBX`s, MV`s and many other exotic machines being raced around this classic circuit. You can even walk through the pits to get up closes to the bikes and riders.

Very early days but Angof, who I bumped into at Spa last year, has made this very kind offer:

It would remiss of me not to volunteer. After all, i am the local boy. We're about 1' 15" - 1' 30" from the circuit. Let me know what you want and I'll do what I can.
Working at NATO I've got locals that can help with any translation.

We've (I'll tell the wife later) got spare room for accommodation, a garden large enough for a few tents and a driveway to fit 3 transits on. It'd be great to have the sound of peds down our street (it's straight and flat, yesssss). That whet your appetites enough?!

Looking at Angofs abode (Chaussee Brunehault 336 7050 Jurbise) an autoroute check shows it is 120 miles from Calaise and 108 miles from the circuit. These will doubtfully be exciting roads for a ped/small motorcycle !! Meeting up at/around Angofs is my initial suggestion, either by van or riding from Calais. From then on 2 wheels only !! A days riding should see us at the Circuit via some ped/small motorcycle friendly roads. I have found that a std Fizz loaded with tent, sleeping bag, clothes, a few tools and a tubby pilot will cruise at 37mph for hours on end

Camping is available either at the circuit or as we found not too far away. We could hear the bikes on track from the campsite though it was a little pricey. Did have a stream to keep your beer cold though.......

We paid £58 return per bike on the chunnel, obviously a car/van is more expensive but yer can fill em with bikes and riders. So a few options to get across/to Angofs. The event takes place in June/July.

As for bikes just in keeping with the spirit really. Peds of all shape and make, specials etc etc (Jawa outfits allowed... ) As per the Brighton run you end up riding with a group of a similar speed.

So, just a bit to start with. So far, Mickmouse, Gaz67, Coxy, Jay (hopefully), MrWeb(suject to pass out), William and me bruv (one of the 4 Bilbao amigos) are game. Feel free to make any suggestions. I best start earning some pass out credits......
They call me Mr Tibbs.

Commer van, Allegro, 350N2, and Garelli next on list.

Be good if you could make it Jay. I did say it was held in June though after looking at past years it could be early July. Have amended original post. Last years theme was 750`s, 2012 may be Ducatis
