Thought it was time to post this, since I've had it over a week. Not running yet- fixed the throttle, broke the clutch, lol! Getting there though :). I'll get some proper pics of the bike, and maybe some where I'm not in me work clobber

Hello there, what year is your fs1e? I've got a T reg one that I've had for 3 years in the same colour with the same air box and indicators.

My old 1980 fs1e had the been can type air filter and different indicators.

Cheers guys, people always think I'm a fella :). And I'm not that young!

I'm hoping to come to the ace, hopefully I'll get the clutch working this week and if nothing else essential dies I should be good to go. The choke isn't working, but I can live without that for now, but my other worry is the oil pump, the cable is a bit slack and I know the slider is compensating for it, but I think it might be a bit too slack, so maybe not enough oil is getting through. I'll have to see if I can adjust it, or just lob some oil in the petrol tank.

It's a pretty tidy bike. I'm enjoying tinkering but I'm hoping to have a break from tinkering so I can actually ride it! It was fun when the clutch cable went, was like trying to control one of the Fords you see in old films that always take the corner at 100 mph! Took me a minute to realise what was going on!
