Hi all, fresh on the back of this years event Kingsley and I have been discussing this for next year.
we think setting off at latest 8 in the morning is important so we can actually stop and have some Food!
Then get Back early enough to have some beers.
Provisional date is June 25th 2014
Your thoughts and comments please?

Date now confirmed as 21st June.
I am aware this clashes with Nats do, but is an alternative for those not going.

Hopefully I will be doing it this year on my Honda PC50 and Sidecar,
Need to do the run to add to my collection of : Coast to Coast - the long one Lowestoft to St.Davids, Wales

and Lands End to John O, Groats

I will probably be doing it both ways Day 1 Alston to Hartlepool to Alston , Day 2 Alston to Whitehaven to Alston..

The NACC (Who started the Coast to Coast) do the ride - one way - over two days, logistically it is easier for me to drive to Alston, stay overnight Friday, then ride to Hartlepool on Saturday, return to Alston for Saturday evening, then on Sunday ride to Whitehaven and back so I can drive back home on Sunday night, this way I know I will have support from the NACC back up vehicles for most of the way !! Unlike me many of the NACC Riders and machines are not used to doing 140 miles in a day, but I am well used to it !!

Makes sense that if you have the weekend to spare.
Some of us are only free on the Saturday so that's why we are doing it in a day. (there and back 260miles wish!)
We can wave eh !
