Hi Fizzy-collegues,

I'm busy to plan a trip to Brighton by FS1 with a few (4-6) people, for may 2012. Johan Laars is already talking with one of you about this. He and some others are going by car.
We come together with the fizzy-riders in Gent, Belgium, on wednesday. We will drive to Calais or Duinkerke by fizzy. That's 150 km (95 miles). There we will take the boat to Dover.
Dover - Brighton is another 135 km / 85 miles. It's too far to drive in one day. (we all have to ride to Gent first.. also 100+ km for each of us).

So we're looking for a place to sleep near Dover. Do you have any advice?
It's just for one night, so as simply and cheap as possible. We have our sleeping bags with us. Our tents are propably in one of the cars, they will depart a day later. (so we arrive in Brighton at the same time)
Camping? Hostel? A bed/couch anywhere..? Doesn't matter to us. I don't know the English words to find some of that.

The most important is that our FS1's are safe, preferably somewhere inside..

Who can give us advise about this?

Greets,
Jet

Hi

It's great to hear you are coming over! Let's see if there any site members who can offer some space to camp. If not there are other options we can explore.

All the best

Here's some Biker friendly accommodation with secure parking that I found with a quick search. I found some slightly cheaper places, but parking may not be so good. Camping will be cheapest, but difficult if the tents are somewhere else in the car.

Do we know the exact date for the Brighton 2012 run? I assume there is only one that leaves from Bolney ?

We're looking for a place to sleep in the night 16-17 may (and maybe 20-21 or 21-22 may)
The Run is at sunday 20 may.

The Bike-stay things are a bit expensive.. Maybe we have to take our tents and stuff with us on the FS1 and look for a camping..
