Just talking to a guy at work who is the same age as me about the clothes etc we used to wear in the 70's and he mentioned those stupid shoes we used to wear, they were like Brouges I think but they had a timber edged heel from memory, I think I took them to the shoe man and he put those steel tips in the heels, anyone remember what they were called we thought we were dead cool also some people used to buy were they called segs or something?, and put them in the heel,

Another 70's flashback wish I could go back there sometimes for a day or so

You talking about that...alway's remember when I was in army cadet's in the mid 70's and having a pair of army boot's with the steel horseshoe in the heel and a small steel piece at the front of the boot under your toe's....i wore them to high school a few time's and boy did they sound good especially when we went for assembly in the morning's....The floor was a nice hollow wood and you could hear my footstep's very clearly...Needless to say I was told I couldn't wear them anymore because they were to hard on the floor's....I remember having them in 76 and 77 when I had my Fizz and then my Rd 250...I rode the RD through town at night and I would put my feet down and drag my boot's on the road....what a pretty sight!!!....Spark's were pouring out from behind me.....did that a few time's and never got caught....happy memories...
