Also on my bucket list of places to visit. Thanks for posting so many pictures. Sorry to hear about your halibut trip though. Those big waves can get anybody. Looks like a great idea to change your other trip to a fly fishing trip. Looks like you learned quickly because those kings on a fly rod are not easy to land. Congrats on those 2 nice looking fish.

Great report and pictures
The day after you posted this I went down to the old fellers house that got me into hunting and fishing.
It had been a while since I had talked to him and he told me I had to come look at his pictures from when he went to Alaska.
The first picture in his album was the same as your first picture.
They fished for 4 days off a charter boat that looked about the same size as my bass boat!
Looks like you guys had a good time.
I'll bet that was fun catching those Salmon on a fly rod.
