What with too much work at my paying job and home to do, most of my gardens have gone to pot but you can see photos of them through the years on this page:

My Gardens

Here's an example photo of my favorite bush, the flowering almond. I eat the fruit.

I've wanted so badly to respond to this but then I keep getting caught up in life and work. FINALLY have a second so I have to add in. I always thought your tanks, ponds and gardens were incredible Robyn! I know that things tend to fall apart during busy times, but you're doing great for everything under your care. Weeds grow and mulch decomposes ... nothing in nature ever stands still so it happens to where everything goes South and falls apart quickly, however, your yard is a safe haven[nevermind the intruders and trespassers] for whoever ventures in. Your gardens will endure time and "neglect" as people so often call it and can always be downsized or upscaled however much YOU can take at the time. Your yard is incredible! ^_^

If it's not intrusive, I have pictures too. I live in the city, so my yard isn't too spacious, but my parents and I have always been a big fan of the wildlife and plants so we tried to make it our safe haven.

There's the back "pond garden"[which now only houses a native gambusia species] with most of my yard ... up closer:

Then there's my garden:

... there's some other parts in the yard[veggie garden, you might can tell I have some citrus trees, etc.] but I haven't and honestly might not get to taking pics of those yet.

Your yard is nice. I've got too much to take care of well so I try to concentrate on the garden around my big pond. My small pond garden (which you can't tell it's a garden anymore) has a stake that says something like, "Nature always bats last. The weeds will win."

Yeah, the fruit/veggie garden is getting huge. We have peppers (habaneros, jalapenos, and bells), tomatoes, squash, watermelon, corn, avocado, collard greens, and other things I can't quite remember, plus several citrus trees. We have grapefruit, lemon, and I believe tangerine.

I'll try to take some pictures when I get back home. I'm currently dog-sitting for a friend since they are taking a little vacation.
3 dogs, 10 cats, 1 yellow-sided green cheek conure, 2 sugar gliders, 2 aquariums, and 1 pond
