While the cat's away, the mice will play. Or rather, the mice will have an all out verbal war. Per his request, Kenny is no longer registered on the forum. I'm not going to discuss what I may think is wrong with him or any other member as far as their mental or emotional state. We each need to take care of ourselves physically and mentally. There's no shame in seeking help. I myself am on anti-anxiety pills until I'm functional. It's killing me to be home and not be able to tend to my animals, at least the things my parents can't do. But, I can't control it.

It really hurts me when people on this forum fight because you're my only friends. I want each and every one of you to be happy and healthy mentally and physically. I'm crying now which pulls my sutures and hurts. Please try to get along. My problem is that I'm too empathetic. When a person says something I think is untrue or mean, I think of what other things may be happening in their lives. Maybe, like me, they are emotional alone. I never want to assume that someone is saying something false but, believe me, I'm no idiot and know you guys well enough to know when things like that are going on.

I would hope that you guys could learn to get along. We're here to help the animals afterall. Kenny said he hoped that some that left because of him would return. I would like that as long as things go back to being nice.

You guys didn't give me a very nice post-operative/Christmas present. It's mine to you that I'll continue to answer questions. Remember, we still have a system set up to complain about people and put it to a vote. The thing is, for the most part, things around here are calm until I'm in the hospital (the last big blowup was then too). Well, supposedly, I'm fixed now so everybody put on their little goodie two shoes and teach and learn about animals. Period. Love you guys.

Ok, I finally read the missed messages here except for two (out of time), and I'll do those tomorrow (jotted them down). Enough for today. Over 1000 e-mails to get to over the next week!

Just wanted to check in. I've been too weak to do anything including e-mail except my quick one here a few days ago. I'm too weak to shower or do any animal work. My parents are keeping the cats, rabbits, chickens, and turtle alive. The pond has stopped dropping in level; I haven't been allowed outside in the snow to see if there are dead fish or not. The aquariums are awful filthy, opaque, the filters just drizzling, the fish barely moving. It's breaking my heart. My brother may come tomorrow so I can guide him through at least cleaning those tanks. The turtle will live but now with them feeding him in his 120 gallon tank, it's a thick, white, disgusting haze in there. I know at worst, he'll get a fungal infection but turtles are tough. I can't lift anything over about 10 pounds for 2 months! Of course, right now, I can't lift myself out of the recliner either (I've been sleeping and living in it; can't get out of a bed). I don't feel things are ever going to get better. I passed out for most of Christmas presents; I didn't get anything good from my family (just my life from the surgeon which is all that matters). Anyway, I'm still alive and fighting like crap to get back to my animal kids. Mom's taking advantage by forcing me to eat foods I never would like Bison and squash. Even half dead, that's awful.

Hi Robyn
You are going to have to get your Brother to do those tanks as you have to rest!!!... :o
The Surgeon gave you your life yes but you have to do as your told and take things a little at a time until you are strong enough to do these chores on your own. :)
You being there means you can oversee things which is great as things will habve to be done to your standard. :)
Never fear it's only a month of lighter duties building up to your original work load
but not before !!!... :(
