I did not protest... I think the problem is that I lost 1 lap pitting. But then I beat the pace car to the pit exit/entrance and instead of letting me enter the track, they held me for some odd reason, so I lost another lap. Not real sure why they held me. But they did give me a warning for speeding...

Artie you had a great run bud. Honestly, it all came down to tires. In the end and yours seemed like they were shot.

4 OOTers in the top 5 also.

Great run Artie. Glad I found your shirts..lol. that race was a true enduro, a battle of attrition. Congrats to those that were able to outlast the clock. 465 is a good number.

Congrats to Ben Tunny on his World Figure 8 Title for 2015. He was not really even in the picture early on as Mark and Jesse battled up front. But as the race went on, he slowly worked his way up to the top spot. Masterful race on his part.

A big shoutout to Artie Ware and his crew on an outstanding run. He finally avoided some bad luck that has followed him around in this race. The car and driver were great and they have nothing to feel bad about after finishing second to the hottest driver in figure 8 racing over the past year.

Tough breaks for Mark and Jesse Tunny who both might have had the fastest cars in the race.

It was nice to see Leonard Basham have a top 3 run. He has had plenty of bad luck in this race over the past several years it seems. He definitely still could win this race again as was proven in this one.

Nice job by Danny Smith after getting caught up in an altercation early. He drove the car hard over the second half of the race and came away with a 5th place finish.

Good run for Corey Turner finishing 4th as he just stayed out of trouble for the most part and run strong.

Michael Hadley seemed to have the fastest car in the middle of the race as he was blazing a trail there for a while. He had some moments early in the race that got him turned around and ended up losing a couple laps.

I don't know if many people even noticed, but Darrin Greenwell had an awesome run going until something happened to the car and dropped out while running 4th. Maybe he could get on here and tell us what happened to the car.

Finally I want to say great job to Zack Larson in the 83. In his first 3 Hour, he was cutting that X like a champ. I told someone next to me that he would not last and get hit before it was over, but he picked his way safely through. Nice job and I hope he can make it back and try it again.

I wanted to add one more to my driver list notes. Donnie Garrigus IV. This kid was really impressive in his first 3 Hour. He seemed to have tremendous poise and made some great decisions. I even made it a point to go to his pit after the race to congratulate him but he wasn't around at that moment. Great race Donnie.

Thanks for the props Hawk. The rear end let go.

Seems like I ran most of the race with the 44 (Garrigus), super smooth, clean run ... lots of fun.

I could smell that someone was loosing a rearend. I figured that was what happened to you. Good run sir, and yes it seemed like you and the 44 were running with each other the entire time.

Did anyone ever figure out who the 83 TBA driver was on the driver list? I don't think that car ever showed. I was just wondering who it could have been.
