on the stock thing. it is the cars. they look like an old cup car from the 80's. economics is another factor.

the biggest is time and money. my wife has been attending school and is finished until fall!!!!!!!!!! my son is old enough to have him in the pits with me. going racing without him would be wrong. and some bad memories are forgotten. i had some people steal the fun out of it for me. i had to put that in the past.

i could be really interested in both those. i just reread an earlier question. you asked about the halloween 200. i am more interested in the firecracker 200. they tend to start 90 cars in the halloween race and it is a big demo derby for about 100 laps.

the salem car i have would be good for that. it is a 1975 monte carlo with a 1984 monte carlo body. it has always been fast. i would love to try the kimmel series but they have some pricey safety gear they require.

i have never raced at winchester. my engine man, red pedersen, is trying hard to talk me out of those big tracks. his argument is at 42 my bones don't heal as well as they did at 18. my favorite is still speedrome because it is home.

well it is ken hood, doug carver, logan kreisher, mike moore jr. and al nuetzell in his shop. like i eluded to earlier red pedersen is the horsepower guy. we are just building the first of many engines with red. actually i can't afford red so i am building it in his shop but under his watchful eye. red usually get about 25k out of one of his sprint engines. junior and marion lemasters help us and we help them as well.
