Seems to me that unless they go 12" wheels you might only have Doodle vs. Puckett.

They were looking to run a 20 lap oval and a 20 lap figure 8.

Not gaining much traction with those laps and payout, especially when they would all have re mount the tires on 10" wheels.

Official Release From the Track:

Official decision on outlaw tires. Any tire is allowed including 3 hour tire, must be on 10" rims. We know this may be an inconvenience for some, however with the new configuration of the X, and additional laps, we feel it will be unsafe for 12" tires. Pay as with all classes is based on car count. We would really like to see as many cars as possible since we spent a lot of money to reconfigure the X just for you figure 8 guys. We are planning on also having a outlaw figure 8 race in October along with the Bluegrass Classic, but again that is also based on car count this week. What we have as far as pay is based on 10 cars because the past few years we have been promised large car count to only have 6 show up. More than 10 cars, pay increases.

It has been on the schedule but as far as promoting, I haven't seen anything about it. I actually forgot about it until this week when they started posting stuff. With that said, I can't get Monday off work now so I won't be able to go this time. I learned last year that it's tough coming back late and then getting up and going to work the next day. I could do it when I was younger I guess, but I'm not quite that young anymore. lol

One car, Ricky Puckett, showed up. And I heard he broke something during practice.
