ImageWelcome New Year's Quitters! Please understand that our ability to admit new members into the forum is dependent upon having sufficient levels of support for new quitters recentlyadmitted. Some years the two match up well. Otheryears, we either have way too many applicants or too few oldies with time to support and address their recovery concerns.

What's hard topredictis the percentage who'll find us each New Years or the percentage of last year'soldies who decide to stay around and continue sharing their wisdom once comfort arrives. Hopefully this year will have a good match and be able to allowall qualified applicantsinto the group. But if not, please don'tget discouraged. All of our materials are available to you, and Freedom has mighty bigwindows!

I'm going to attach a video clip below by Joelwhich explainsNew Year's conerns and admission issues in more detail. Althoughmade primarilyto encourageexisting members tolend a hand if possible, it alsoshares the history as to why Freedom is today first and foremost a classroom.

Remember, the next few minutes are all that matter and each is within your ability to control. Baby steps, you're doing great! Still only one rule which if followed makes failure impossible ... no nicotine today!

Breathe deep, hug hard, live long,

As many of us know, and obviously never realized before, having a site devoted to quitting nicotine, as opposed to 'trying to quit' etc. has made a direct impact on the thought process and reinforcement of positive resolve. I personally am finding this whole process very  eye opening and interesting a I progress through this quitting process.

thanks again Freedom and John Polito!

Welcome to the only 100 percent nicotine-free cessation  support group known to exist!  There should be at least one place on planet earth where nicotine has no voice.   And it's here at Freedom!

We strongly encourage you to pour yourself into Freedom's hundreds of thousands of messages and to watch as many of Joel's 170+ stop smoking videos as you can.  Why?  Because knowledge truly is power.  We can each easily become far smarter than our addiction is strong.  And as Joel says, all it will cost you is time.

The primary value of joining Freedom is in journaling your journey so as to create a permanent one-stop record.  That record will serve you well in the years to come in helping avoid complacency.  Your words will also alert the group's seasoned members as to clues of important lessons that were possibly missed.

Anyway, welcome to Freedom!  We're so glad you found us!   Yes, millions of words but just one guiding principle that if followed provides a 100 percent guarantee of success ... no nicotine just one hour, challenge and then day at a time!
Breathe deep, hug hard, live long,
