Checking in

<t>Well, I'm surprised that I don't have much to say, lol. It's almost 2 weeks since my last posting here. I'm just living life. Most days I don't think of nicotine much. But some days it crosses my mind throughout the day. I think it has to do with whatever mood I'm in. At least I don't think of ni...

WOW Factor

<t>After watching the video on "I will not smoke today" I realize that I was focussing on the 2 or 3 daily thoughts of smoking. I fell to see the times I didn't think of smoking. First, I just realize that (for many days) I haven't thought of that morning cigarette I had to have. I can't even rememb...

Will I every stop thinking............

Thanks! What an awesome video! My entire perspective on daily thoughts of smoking just changed. I will embrace the thoughts because it means that I am still healing and making my quit stick.

<t>Well it has been almost a week since I wrote in my journal. I know I'm not out of the woods and shouldn't get too comfortable. But it is wonderful not thinking of cigarette every hour. It's a little weird actually. The thought still crosses my mind 2 or 3 times a day, but I don't feel an urge to ...

<t>Great reminder for me. Thank you. I have now stopped smoking for 1 month, 2 weeks, 5 days, 11 hours, 52 minutes, 47 seconds. That translates into 712 cigarettes NOT smoked, for a savings of $249.35! At 5 minutes per cigarette I have increased my life expectancy by 2 days, 11 hours, 22 minutes, 7 ...

<t>Thanks Joel! Another good one. Typically when accounting for the day's events, I never thought to mention all of the cigarettes I smoked from morning to night. Wow, I'm speechless for a change. Also, if I add in the coughing before, during, and after each cigarette (especially during the night) i...

Calmly Relieved

<t>I only had two thoughts (not cravings) of smoking today. I know it's been more than six weeks since I quit. I just can't lie, I still think of my old habit. But I have to work through each incident very thoroughly. Well, it was a great weekend. I spent time with nonsmoking relatives and had no cr...
