Sylvia,

Thanks for the kind words. Two months in is a great accomplishment. They are EASILY the hardest two months of your quit you will EVER have.

But you will still be amazed at how much better it's going to get!

At 6 months, it's none (though it's been like that for at least 2-3 months).

Sometimes I try to remember what it was like though...

As an update, the 21 year old I referred to is still smoking regular cigarettes, along with his e-cigarette.

No surprise to those of us who understand the law of addiction.

Ana,

Congratulations on taking your life back. You have no idea all the blessings- both large and small- that await you as you continue on your journey. I'm only 6 months in, and stand amazed at how much better life is already.

Jason,

I love this series. I have also noticed a voice coming back stronger, and with greater range. It's one of the bonuses I didn't anticipate, but really appreciate. I can even get through the Hallelujah Chorus now!

<t>Congrats on the solid work, JRock! I've put on about 5-10# myself. I think part of it is because I enjoy food more now. I've started running again too, and am amazed that now when I run, I don't feel my lungs! I had smoked for so long, I just thought strained or pained lungs were just part of the...

<t>It's amazing the similar experiences we go through when we quit. Soon after I quit, I had that identity crisis of "Who am I without cigarettes?" Thanks, endura, and a hearty congrats back at ya'. I would say the quit got pretty easy sometime during month 3. I have metally transitioned from "can't have" a cigarette to "don't want" a cigarette.

<t>RedSun,<br/> <br/> Congrats on Double Green. You will probably notice some big changes this month regarding comfort level.
