<t>Hello there Camelius. Haha. Yes-- hard core-- but as fellow addicts we all know the crazy turns our brains can take. The bottom line is-- no puffs ever, and do what it takes to make it every day! Take on one day at a time, and you can do it (Basically, if I can, any one can). And although I admit...

<t>Welcome to freedom. I started even earlier in my life than you, and then quit and relapsed several times. Now that I have a much better understanding of the addiction and how to manage it (never, ever take another puff no matter what) I can stay quit. Congratulations for stopping again. Not easy ...

The hope of going without having to think about evil old smoking is very very inspiring! I wasn't different and am an absolute addict, so maybe I'm not different and can achieve your type of freedom one day at a time. Thanks for dropping by and sharing:)

<t>Congratulations on your acheivement! I am so glad for you that you are free, and before your son's birthday too. I have two great reasons to stay away from smoking-- lovely young granddaughters. (Also, I am a stubborn natural rebel, and finally realized that "they" can't make me smoke. So I won't...

Hey Chas-- how are you  doing with your quit? I have made it 1 month-- and will make it today (sometimes with flying colours, sometimes "by the skin of my teeth"). You sounded a bit down, and I can sure sympathize quitting is really hard emotional work. Hang in there young friend.

<t>Welcome Beth! How excellent that you quit. Now you and your husband will hopefully be around for a long time for your sons (and yourselves too!) I have been nic sober a month, and am down to just two short craves a day, but doing lots of emotional work with myself as I am working through decades ...

Congratulations on reaching ten years of freedom! You are an inspiration to a newbie. I pray that I can follow in your footsteps,

Free and healing 1 month tomorrow, taking each day at a time. No spring chicken, but not too old either.
