Hi Craig,

I have been away from the boards for many months but still enjoy living my life as a non-smoker.  You and many others were and are an inspiration to me.

You are quite right, this board and the materials that Joel, John, and all of the others have given to us is a gift of life.  We all owe them more than words can easily describe.

Thank you for dropping by and for your generous words.

To any folks new to the board or considering quitting, as difficult as it looks from where you are now it is really difficult to believe that it will ever be easy and natural to NOT smoke.

Listen to all of the folks that been where you are now...it really does get quite easy so long as you choose to Never Take Another Puff.

Warm Regards,

Jeff

Congratulations on five years! 2 and 1/4 for me and I still can't believe it! Still astoundingly grateful!
Glad to see the successful people come back just to share their success. Proof that the educated cold turkey quit works!

Hi all !!

Forgot somehow that as of Jan 7 @ 7:44 PM  , marked a six year quit . To all those who helped me out in those early days a HUGE thank you . It made quitting  a whole lot easier.  To Joel , I can't thank you enough for being there one night when I was going bonkers - you put some sense into a senseless time. To all those working and struggling with your quit - keep it up it is so worth it .

Craig,Awesome job on the six years.  When I hear someone talk about quitting smoking I refer them here.  I tell them how why quit/freedom gives you the tools that you need to quit smoking.  I can remember coming on here, watching one of Joel's videos and being so happy that it was normal to feel how I was feeling.  That I was surrounded by others that were sharing my pain and easing it at the same time.  Thanks for always being one of those people,
