I have learned so very much on this site, but the most important thing is to NEVER TAKE ANOTHER PUFF! You volunteers deserve many kudos, hugs, kisses, pats on the back, high fives, big hooplas, ect.

The question was asked today about how long Freedom has been in existence. This post gives a detailed history of Freedom's beginnings and growth over the past three and a quarter years.

Thankyou John (Zep), Joel, Joanne,Linda, Randy, Joy and Kathy Christine. There is no doubt in my mind that the work you do is saving lives and making them more peaceful, productive and happy. Also, I now have a clearer understanding of the NRT issue and am better armed with the information I need to explain the importance of cold turkey quitting to others. You all take care now. -Chad B.

Thanks to all the dedicated managers of Freedom. I find myself at a loss for words as I try to express what your site has brought to my life. Not only have you taught me how to handle smoking cessation, but you have taught me self control. You have helped me find an inner strength that I haven't called on in a long time. Just thank you from the bottom of my heart.

First time I've seen this thread, and I thought it would be helpful to kick it up to the top for all our New Year's Newbies! Allso, I think it would be a neat idea for each of us, if we, after having read this very important thread, simply say:

Thank you FREEDOM! You saved my life.

Alright...I'm back here again, but this time I went back and read all the responses to this thread as well as the original post. It is truly amazing to take a peek "back in the day" to when our fearless managers were nurturing their very own fledgling quits. I must say, it is quite inspiring to see John and Joanne and Linda as "newbies", and to know in my heart of hearts that it only gets bettter from here. Again:
Thank you. You saved my life.
