Debby has moved farther north than expected, so it is looking like Texas is probably out of the picture. The official hurricane center forecast now has it moving into Louisiana, although there is still a decent chance it heads northeast across northern Florida. The problem is the storm is still disorganized and in no-man's-land with a couple large-scale forces trying to pull it in different directions.
The new forecast has changed significantly again. Now, Debby may just creep northward for the next few days toward the Florida panhandle. I hope people in Florida like rain because you will be getting a lot of it if the northward drift pans out. It's also still possible Debby moves out to the northeast a little faster.
