as you are in this clip- you would have arrested me
for being drunk and disorderly.
At least you didn't expose yourself like
Jim Morrison did at Diner Key in 1969.(Is he dead or not)

Surely you didn't sway that much with the John Redman
swing. No wonder it didn't work.

Bob from Kentucky please show this clip to Denver-
His ideas about weight shift and staying centered
would help Mr. CHAZMAN.

Mr.Chazman , did you read my analysis of your
yogi swing? Please do. I know what I'm talking
about because i used to do the same thing.

I went to a lot of trouble posting that analysis-
(Typing speed 5 words a minute)
The least you can do is read it and respond
with a post the way you did for Denver.

Chaz is swaying from Mexico to Canada.
However Chaz's brain is so lock-down efficient
that if he doesn't think he is swaying then
by gum he isn't swaying. It might be one of
those detective things to keep him honed in
on his investigation of the golf swing.

JC, read your post on Chaz's Yogi swing I found it very good, I don't know who Redman is but I think you and I have similar swings, I know the Chaz hates AJ but last weekend at the driving range consciously trying to get the hands to turn over using a short compact swing produced some of the best shots I've had in a while, reading your post I realize I might have been moving my head and/or swaying, gonna play with Boris tomorrow and try it out and see how Boris's interpretation of the Austin swing works.

In the AJ instruction, golfers are urged to roll their arms counter clockwise with extra attention and exertion as though leveraging a baseball bat counterclockwise.

In the Austin swing, having done a similar thing as AJ IN DRILLS ONLY, TO GIVE YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS PERMISSION TO ALLOW that rollover, there is NO deliberate rollover: rather there is a deliberate palm-flat-into-the-ball orientation of the arms, AND THEY ROLL INTO THE BALL NOT DUE TO EXERTION IN THE ARMS AND HANDS BUT DUE TO THE TURING OF THE BODY COUNTERCLOCKWISE. The action in the HANDS is the same as slapping a tennis ball with a racquet square to the line, not a rolling action: ROLLING HAPPENS BOTH BEFORE AND AFTER THE HIT, BUT ONLY BECAUSE THE ARMS COME OUT OF THE BODY LIKE A DOOR SWINGS AROUND A HINGE. The door surface changes the direction it is facing as it closes, but it does not TWIST.

So after learning to ALLOW the natural pronation/supination of the arms due to the body turn into the ball, the thrust is flat right palm- or better, FLAT RIGHT WRISTBONE into the back of the ball, NOT a forearm exertion. The right triceps straightens the right arm the same as when you throw a ball, but the forearm roll is minimal exertion -- and of a piece with the pivot.

The expression goes, drive your right side into the ball. Don't twist into it.

John Redman and A.J. are polar opposites in
their swing theories.
You should get Mr. Redman's book.
The only thing you do with your hands is hang on
to the club- the arms are swung by the body.

I had a lot of trouble with the Redman swing until
i learned to keep my noggin back on the downswing.

I hit a lot of pulls and pull hooks- keeping my
noggin back seems to make my hips move laterally
before they turn and i started hitting the ball much better-still can't putt worth a poot.
Mr. Redman doesn't want you to have the feeling of
a weight shift-he says the weight of the arms
-about 15 pounds-moving to the right is all
the weight shift you need.

David, the question is- Will Mr.Chazman read my
post? DON'T THINK HE LIKES ME SINCE I CALLED
HIM A FLATFOOT WHO ATE TOO MANY DONUTS.

Just bring your clubs, toothbrush and a change
of drawers. the change of drawers is optional-
we are pretty casual up here in the mountains.

Almost forgot- bring your piano and teach me
how to tickle the ivories.

he took over a vacant shaman-ship in Africa.
He jumps out of bushes at people with a mask
on. He might come to Innsbruck too.

indicate you lead with the left shoulder. You will usually get a bad hook or get stuck on the downswing and push left. I know the fix as I have also had this problem but am reluctant to offer suggestions. Possibly a competent pro will be able to help.
