All three of the gun questions can be answered at once: Stilez doesn't really pay any attention to the specific weapons she's using, she just likes using 'em. (and seems to have been bred with an instinctual knowledge of how to use ALL of them) Since she naturally attracts the attention of well-armed opponents (who stand no chance against her), she's got a steady stream of fresh weapons to pick up and toss into a pile wherever she's staying at the moment. Once a specific gun is either broken or empty, she just tosses it aside and uses another one. As for how many she keeps on her... well, that all depends on whether or not I'm drawing her in a jacket or something. If so, she can magically pull new guns out of her pockets for all eternity! :D

Poses: I really SHOULD have character sheets like that, it'd make a lot of things easier (like figuring out what Trigger's hair should look like from above) but unfortunately, I just wing it.

Mooney: I certainly WANT to have her in the main comic, but I want to make sure I come up with a story that'll actually do her justice. ESPECIALLY after Killer Station of Deadly Doom kind of wasted her. In the meantime, keep an eye out in the background. You know how often secondary characters pop up there without warning.

Fanart: EVENTUALLY, yes. Making the new profile/FAQ pages and moving all the other pages off Zymic and onto SmackJeeves is taking priority, though. Basically, what I'm saying is, I'm a TERRIBLE webmaster.

I'm sure there have been worse webmasters.

Maybe I should start a new thread on here somewhere so I can have an excuse to post when I don't actually have anything constructive to say.

Pseudorandom questions:
  • If you discovered that a friend of yours was acting like Trigger is currently, what would you do?
  • Do psychic powers exist in the FOT universe?
  • If there was suddenly a zombie apocalypse, how likely do you think you'd be to survive?
  • If you could have any one non-wish-like superpower, what would it be? (So no Green Lantern rings, creating physically impossible equipment, granting others powers, etc)
One day I will think before I post. Today is not that day.

Creeper Trigger: It wouldn't be allowed to go without comment, though exactly what would depend on the relationship with said friend. Butting in when one hasn't "earned" (so to speak) the right to do so can just make things worse.

Psychic: That's a good question. I suppose the answer's no, just because I don't find that sort of thing very interesting and thus won't be writing any stories that revolve around it. Then again, Alphonse can control computers with his mind, so I guess sufficiently Sci-Fi sounding psychicary could happen elsewhere.

Zombies: Probably not likely. I mean, I'd probably be pretty good at the whole "don't do the stupid crap that gets everybody killed in zombie movies" thing, but that's only half the issue. There's also the whole "survival without the rest of civilization to back you up" thing. I'd probably kick the bucket from malnutrition or some stupid disease rather than zombie attack. BOOORING.

Powers: Id... um... Hmmm... I'm sure there's a simple, one word phrase for this, but I can't come up with what it is. I'd want to to constantly be in peak physical condition. Not so much being physically indestructible (though I guess that'd come with the territory, and I wouldn't turn it down) but always being healthy and energetic. Taking care of yourself takes TIME, you know? Imagine how much stuff I could get done if I never got tired, or sick, or out of shape. That'd rule!

That answer for a superpower is still one of the best I've heard for that question.

The most common answer I've gotten is flight. Although there's been variations of it, some specify being able to grow wings at will for example.

For myself, I chose forcefields because you can use them for so many different things - depending on how much control you have you can simulate levitation and telekinesis, etc. Not to mention being able to keep dry when you forgot your umbrella.

But always being healthy and have spare energy? I think that would be an awesome power. Indestructability on its own can have issues (how would you get innoculations? for starters) but being in peak physical condition all the time doesn't seem to have any drawbacks that I can see. It'd also be really convenient, and unlike other potential superpowers shouldn't draw too much unwanted attention. It isn't flashy, and you might even be able to handwave it if someone notices something, which means you could avoid media attention if that's what you wanted (and thus have more time to draw webcomics and go to cons :P)

Concerning apocalypse, that's how I think most people would go, honestly. Zombies or not :P

For psychic stuff, could it be said that any 'psychic' powers would be the result of splicing, augmentation, etc? (Or mad science of other sorts)

Now, questions...
I couldn't think of any earlier, which is why I didn't respond.
  • Meeting Stilez on that run-down station seemed to be just chance, but Ichabod certainly has a greater number of encounters with her than you'd expect. Is it just because he's a trouble-magnet, and Stilez is a very big source of trouble, or are there times when she deliberately tracks him down?
This time she just decided to tag along directly, so it doesn't seem out of the realm of the possible...
  • Does the existence of the Patreon mean that we might get to see some new Becky and Gilb comics?
  • Possibly related to above, your $20 tier could be to draw a comic or picture based on whatever the person wants (with regard to the rules) since you've got the $10 tier limited to Far Out There.
But... I don't have the spare money to pledge $20 a month :(

I feel like I should have either more or better questions, but I'm posting before I realise that maybe I should wait until I'm actually awake.
One day I will think before I post. Today is not that day.

Stilez: I think it's probably "Yes to all". Stilez probably makes a point of looking for Ichabod when she remembers to, but she's too easily distracted to keep that up for long. But since Ichabod has, like, the worst luck in the universe, she'd end up stumbling onto him over and over even if she DIDN'T try, so it doesn't really matter either way.

...but, of course, that still doesn't address the question of how the met in the first place...

Becky & Gilb: You know what? I hadn't thought of it, but that's a neat idea. Lord knows I've WANTED to do more of those comics for a while now, (heck, the whole reason the last one ended on "to be continued" was cos I was trying to motivate myself to keep working on it) but it's just a matter of finding time in between all the other stuff I'm trying to do. Which dovetails nicely with...

$20 Patreon: That's a neat idea, but it runs up against my general policy of not doing commissions. I SUUUUUUUUUCK at time management and balancing out my work load, so I've learned to be very VERY careful about just taking requests out of the blue. That's why the lower Patreon levels are set up with a pretty rigid structure. If I know I'm going to have to draw a Conventional Wisdom about THIS show, or draw a Far Out There about THIS one thing, I can plan around it and have a better chance of doing it on time... and even then, I can't always do it. I mean, Conventional Wisdom's overdue as I write this, and it's throwing everything else off something fierce. So, while that's a good idea, I just don't know if I'm good enough to actually make it work (assuming anyone even even bids at that level, which I'm not holding my breath for)
