I discovered a channel on Iheartradio that plays American Top 40 shows from the 70's and 80's with no commercials.  I was playing 1982 games listening to an American Top 40 from 1982.  This is fantastic.

corrected to 70's and 80's above.  The show did not start until 1970.

No, not me singing. I'm on the West Coast.
Although I have seen a couple games at Fenway. Back in '82 got to meet Carl Yastrzemski and also saw Wade Boggs beat Detroit with an extra-inning walk-off over the Monster and into the net for his first major league home run. (Dwight Evans had tied the game with a two-out, two-run dinger in the bottom of the 9th)

Wow!  Boggs and Evans...that was a great game.

And those old Red Sox had a fun celebration this week at Fenway.

Baseball...such memories...how they do linger...

Here is an update on listening to American Top 40 on the internet.  Since I discovered the iheartradio Top 40 channel, I have found other sources of listening to American Top 40 online.

http://thefoxoldies.com/  : This channel is playing American Top 40 in order every weekday at 11 am and 11 pm ET.  They are currently in April 1976 and will go until 1988.

Every weekend, radio stations across the country play old American Top 40 shows.  The list of channels and their links and times can be found on a message board:

70's Station List:  http://at40fg.proboards.com/thread/4260 ... 014?page=1

80's Station List: http://at40fg.proboards.com/thread/4473 ... 3rd?page=1

I have gone a little nuts with this, but it sure is fun.
