Tristan Walker grew up on welfare in the housing projects of New York. He has since gone on to start a successful shaving razor company for men of color. His shaving razors and products are designed to prevent razor bumps in black men.

He recently turned down a half a billion dollar offer from Procter & Gamble, Schick, and Gillette, who wanted to buy his company. He said that he wanted to keep it black owned.

Got to check this product out. I'm one of those brother who gets skin irritation from shaving easily. Hopefully, I have found a shaver for life.

I think this will make a great gift set for the men in my life.
(Sorry, my AFN brothers, I'm only referring to my non-cyber life. :) )

I ordered this product as a gift and it's on the way! I also forwarded the link to other black business owners who also like to "keep it in the family" as I call it. It's cool - since they used the referral, they were given a discount.

I received it today. It's very nicely packaged, complete with a notecard from the founder.

Though I really wanted to have a complete look at it, I didn't think I'd be able to redo the packaging so that it still looks nice when it's given as a gift. So, I put back the first layer of paper, and gift wrapped the box.
Done.
