If you are running Windows 64bit then the 32bit version of Executor will per default be located here: "c:\Program Files (x86)\Executor", where the 64bit version will per default be located here: "c:\Program Files\Executor".
  • Both versions share the same settings folder (such as "c:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\Executor") so all settings, keywords, history etc. should be read correctly when switching.
  • If you are using a none standard skin you might have to copy this to the new 64bit folder.
  • If you have enabled the option "Start on windows startup" you should open setup uncheck this, close setup, open setup again and enable it again in order for Windows to update the correct version of Executor to start. Update: Installer will now detect and offer a fix for this.
  • If you have enabled the option "Add to windows 'Send to' menu" you should open setup uncheck this, close setup, open setup again and enable it again in order for Windows to update the correct version of Executor to start.
  • It might be a good idea to backup your executor.ini located in the appData folder. If you can't find this you can create a keyword called "datafolder" and put in the keywords command $DATAFOLDER$ then use the keyword to open the folder.
  • If you regret installing the 64bit version you can install the latest release version of Executor available in the download section which is a 32bit installer only. The same advice above should be taken into consideration when moving from 64bit to 32bit.
Note the installer that contains both the 32bit and 64bit version of Executor is only available from the test forum in -> this
