Pull down Essbase > Options > Global tab.

Check "Enable Double Clicking".

If you are still unable to retrieve, find & run unRegExcelAddin.exe.

If that fails, uninstall completely & re-install. Make sure you install for a single user, and unregister the add-in.

Hope this helps,

I checked my access in security, its set for planning, and some users have both essbase and planning,
do you think its the culprit or do i uninstall excel addin again.

Did you fix it? Was it as OraHyperion suggested -- multiple instances of Excel running?
