Anyone know how to invoke ASO Aggrigation using the Essbase API? We are using JAPI verion 11.1.1, not 11.1.2 which will support MDX statements.

The function in MDX that im looking to convert is

execute aggregate process on database <app,db> stopping when total_size exceeds <factor>

I took a look at the IEssCube interface in 11.1.2.1 and did not see anything documented for aggregations. However, if you cast an IEssCube object to its implementation class, EssCube, some interesting possibilities appear. Consider this sample code:

IEssCube essCube = server.getApplication("Sample").getCube("Basic");
EssCube cube = (EssCube)essCube;
cube.aggregateProcess();
cube.aggregateProcess(0d, false, false);

I don't know what the arguments are for these 2 methods as they are not documented, but that may give you some ideas for experimentation. Further, I am sure that Oracle would not support you if you have any issues with this technique as it isn't documented..
