Set deep in the Takar Desert, several miles north of Eldahar, is one of Ashoka's most fabled oases. Large, pleasant palm trees and tufts of coarse grass surround the pristine sapphire waters. Aptly named as a life-giving place in the ancient tongue of the tribesmen, it has a reputation a saviour to those lost and without hope and is described in myth and famous texts as a gem of the desert. Often it seems an illusion, for it is hard to believe that this place could exist in the middle of such a harsh landscape. It is a peaceful place and often it is simply stumbled upon by accident, though one may persuade a tribesman to to lead them to it.
