Re: Battle to the death!!!

It means you are now staff, but you don't have to do anything you don't want to do. Same on the new forum. If you have any of your posts you want to transfer all well & good, but I am working my way through them steadily!

FORUM CHANGE! All members please register.

Bummer!  We'll all keep sending good thoughts in your direction.  On the subject of the forum host - yes tapatalk seems difficult to get to grips with, but if there is any helpful feedback, there will be any number of forum folk there to help with the transfer.  Keep smiling,  J. https://image.ibb....

Re: Revolutionary War Field Days, Camden, SC

The pieces on the left side of the fire kit pic are "fat lighter" wood, resinous wood from pine stumps.  Shavings light easily from the tow and burn for a while. Thanks again for the help. Those same knots the planters split out into small shivers, about the thickness of a finger, or thinner; and...

Re: Keeping You Up To Date, & your opinion please.

Keith I'm shocked to hear about this! I step into the shadows for a few weeks and return to find this news! Are you feeling better? I think it best to change forums to minimize the problems that you've encounter with this tapatalk thing. Is there some way to have a shared administrators account so ...

Good one Dave, definitely well on your way ( okay here, but next time perhaps a post like this belongs in the Show & Tell forum). Seeing as you asked, I would lose the waxed paper (or whatever it is), The butcher knife blade is great, love it, but if it was mine, I would remove the 20th century cutl...
