Why not use the terrace at the Halton Stadium?

Why not use the terrace at the Halton Stadium?

Surely this would involve no cost and help increase the atmosphere.
The terrace is to be used for the Rugby Semi final, so must be fit to accomodate fans. It doesnt require any lighting or facilities, so no extra cost will be involved. Fans can gain entrance through the main stand and walk to the terrace if they choose to use it.
You only need stewards for a certain size crowd, so new stewards wont be needed.
This will allow visible support on 2 sides of the ground, increase atmosphere and may help to attract new fans. Im sure it will be popular with both home and away supporters.
Can someone put this to the club?

When the 11,000 are on the BBC this Sunday you will see what I mean.

Even dozens would require hire of temp toilets.

Can't see it happening though, as the club hardly ever pays up for the current stand.

If they have access to the terrace from the stands, then the toilets in the stands can be used, same as the catering etc.
You dont need extra stewards.
For crowds of less than 250, you dont actually need any stewards by law.
Your only talking about 50 people who would stand, people would probably stand if their side was attacking that goal.

You wouldn't be allowed access from the south stand, you would come through the East terrace gates. That requires toilets to be put on and you wouldn't hire terrace for 50 or less in the first place, it would make even less sense moneywise than the average 180 - 200 that occupy part of the south stand currently.

Thus the whole suggestion is a nonsense, which is why I pointed out the above.

Ground safety rules for Halton Stadium are to a higher spec than some of the smaller grounds you attend. Which is why you have stewarding anyway. (even if there were only 50 of you)

Yeah let's stand behind the goal on old terracing with no cover in all weathers? Well 50 of us to create an atmosphere when attacking the old scoreboard end! Are you ready for the asylum, it's 2004 now, all seater stadium, best in the Unibond and you knobs want to stand up....God help us. This club is a magnet for simpletons
