Linnets should take a look at Towns website and look at the basic things that they do well.
Towns is updated on a regular basis, keeps you updated with future events, news of the league AGM, fixtures etc.
Linnets website barely contains any new info and isnt designed for attracting people to look at the site on a daily basis (Not very attractive for sponsors).
The info from Linnets is very slow to be updated and often fans arent kept informed. Some news/event items even appear way after the event or only an hour or so before, giving people little time to plan ahead.
Very little pre-season fixture info on the Linnets site homepage or news about signings etc.
Linnets site takes the forum for granted far to much, rather than placing the emphasis on the actual website.

Towns pre-season info was mentioned in last weeks Weekly News, didnt see one word about Linnets in there last week.
Very good coup by Town to get a game against Wigan Athletic.

Yes your correct
BUT all the good people in Runcorn had the money taken from their council tax to pay for it.

I follow both teams and and visit all websites on a regular basis (Town/Runcorn and this one); I agree the Town website is better for getting info/knowing whats going on (just looking at the 30+ players on Runcorns squad list shows how infrequent its updated). However I like the fans forum section of the Runcorn website - which Town dont have

As was mentioned by Steve P on the official forum the other day, Paul McNally has said that he doesnt want any infor releasing on players at this time, I am guessing thats why the squad list isnt up to date.

Other than that there isnt really that much to say during pre season, once the season is up and running the website is updated almost daily.

How come every other club through the levels manage to find things to say on a regular basis throughout the season and pre-season?
The Linnets site could carry more info on pre-season friendlies etc. (No mention about the Fans Cup game being called off)
There isnt much info on there. (Compare to towns site, with info on the NWCL structure etc)
Even features about the players returning to training etc. (Have they started training?)
There should be a weekly managers column on there or reprint of some features from the match programme.
I would also suggest that the font size is increased, as its quite difficult to read.

if your club manager in macnally says he doesnt want any information releasing to the fans regarding the squad and says it to pritchard of all people then you all knackered ! think about it.getting info out of or from linnets is like trying to free bader mienhoff and they all died so there you go.
