Why exactly? If Linnets lose then so what, still going to be a top 6 finish.

If Town lose it may well cost them the title.

Towns cup final on Monday.

Exactly, Linnets biggest achievement will be denying Town the league.

Today was a cup final...as is Monday and Flixton next Sturday...and so on...

If Town play like its a cup final and Linnets can't be arsed...that'll do Town. Did you see an end of season performance at Barlick today?

No matter how you play it down, Biggy, Linnets should be fired up after Boxing Day and today's mauling at Barlick.

And of course the Linnets "faithful" want a victory more than anything else! I'd say the "faithful's cup final" would be a more accurate description.

Im not playing it down at all, Im just trying to get the point across that theres more riding on the game for Town than Linnets, which is 100% true.

It's Mongs cup final you set of interbred swine, Linnets have naff all to play for except a bit of local pride which is something everyone is quite well aware of, but like Biggy says if you lot lose then it will cost you the title! I'll be the one with the big smile by the way.. Can't wait.
