Pathetic...yet more evidence, if needed, that the FA do not care about grassroots football, Norton have had a superb season which could all fall apart due to the FAs insistance that all games at our level are wrapped up by the end of this month, seriously what harm would a 2 week expansion do?
Good luck to Norton, on both fronts, with this crazy schedual.

It's right, Urkey. 9 points behind Wigan RP with 5 games in hand isn't a gimme...they'll get promoted for sure but as champs? Two legged semi for the league cup doesn't help.

Bloody crazy, the reward for having a successful season, let's make things hard for you.

Lads have to work for a living and try to arrange football around work, bloody joke fixture list

Agreed, they should go up, But Abbey Hey are right with them, allbeit having played 5 extra games, we know what issues some teams may have feilding a midweek side once a week, but several times a week! They play games on consecutive days twice, players at this level have working commitments, its asking a lot imo, and im sure there speccies and players alike would prefer to go up as champions, given the run of games im sure theyll be happy just to see it through and go up.

surley questions have to be asked as to why they have such a fixture pile up , i am sure they new what fixtures had to be completed by the end of the season ( apart from cups ) so bollocks to em , not all down to the FA . you geeks get a life

Surely the blame lies with the NWCFL rather than with the FA.
More games shoudl be played mid week at the start of he season, to avoid this situation.
It also allows them to factor in any posponments during the winter months.
Perhaps clubs at this level compete in far to many silly regional, league and national cups. If any of them go to a replay, then it adds to the calendar.
