Not surprised Urkey thought it was the last 64 as its not as if Linnets get anywhere near those stages.

top bloke al jones worked wonders when he managed runcorn youth team in the altrincham league self funding , and won eveything . Town could do a lot worse than get him on board .

indeed Mr Alan Jones is a topman and always will be.he has the respect of everyone who knows him and of him.hes old school runcorn and still proudly repersents and is symbolic of all that was good that came out of runcorn afc.hes a quality bloke and will always have my respect in life.its a free world so what he came to watch runcorn town at billingham on the runcorn town coach.big wow.it happens but what i will say is the way alan was made to feel welcomed by us all and accepted without suspicion would that happen if a runcorn town board member or committee member went with runcorn linnets board members to a linnets match ? alan jones is a quality bloke quality person.indeed town could a lot worse if they did approach him but saying that is to be assuming somethings happen over something that is innocent as going to watch a football match.my regards and respect as always to you Mr Jones.
