Don't you just love Youtube?

Here's a video taken from the 2006 Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in Shatin.

There are no notes or comments, but it looks like a men's race. Check out the standing technique, and note the liberal use of a "signaling device" that would get them DQ'd here in Canada.

They MUST have been trying to distract the other crews. For shame.

Is it me, or do some of these boats have more than 20 paddlers? I counted at least 11 rows (22 paddlers) in two of the boats.

It could be 11 rows, they have boats that size there. The Hong Kong International Dragbon Baot races in Shatin are usually only 20 paddlers, so maybe it's just the quality of the video. But if it was not the International race, but instead the local festival that preceeds it, who knows what boats they were using?

Apparently the High Kneel finish was required as well since it looked like many teams were doing that as well.

I'm actually guessing that these races are from the community festival that is held on the weekeday in Shatin. I seem to recall they raced some of the longer boats there the years I was lucky enough to be around for those races.
